Just like every day
The police do not exist to protect you
They exist to protect property
They were birthed from slave patrols in the united states
And it is the same reason why black people historically make up the majority of the prison population
It is why the Border Patrol attacks latiné people and asians
“In this country, once you’ve been marked as an enemy of the state you’re always an enemy. They’ll find some other reason to go after you.”
